Throughout my varied career I have worked with many different people from all walks of life, diverse ages, cultures and talents. I have managed large teams of people, as well as just a few, and working for large companies with many tiers of management.

 

I believe one of my main strengths is my ability to communicate, and get along with people, and an easy going attitude while still maintaining high standards. I have had to learn on my feet (I flew into Antarctica and had to learn MAPCON the Department of Defense software programme within the first week of work!) make educated decisions in highly stressful situations in an extreme environment. There is not a lot that phases me and I have very high coping mechanisms! I also know myself pretty well and I am able to accept constructive criticism and learn from it as well as take accountability for mistakes. My leadership role has always depended upon earning the respect of my fellow team members and my willingness to go the extra mile in anything I do, often garners admiration from those around me.
